West Demerara Hindu school student with 19 Grades Ones was top NGSA student in 2018

Virendra Dookie, a student of the Saraswati Vidya Niketan School at Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara, who is now the student with the second highest number of Grades Ones at this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Exams (CSEC), was the country’s top student at the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).

He secured 19 Grades Ones and one Grade Two.

In 2018, he graduated with 521 marks from the Leonora Primary School and was recognised as the Best Letter Writer.

This year, he scored 19 Grades Ones and one Grade Two.
