31 improvised weapons, other items found in Lusignan prison

Ranks of the Joint Services on Monday conducted a three-hour search of the Lusignan Prison and the following prohibited items were found:

• 8 cellphones
• 10 cellphone batteries
• 5 cell phone chargers
• 2 Sim cards
• 2 memory cards
• 31 improvised weapons
• 11 pieces of metal pipes
• 9 pieces of wood
• 7 phone cards
• 3 ziplock bags with cannabis
• 1 small bottle of cannabis seeds
• 1 packet of cigarettes
• 1 tattoo machine and ink
• 1 small cannabis plant and a quantity of ziplock bags.
