Charity woman remanded to prison after caught with ecstasy

Roxanne Lawrie, a 42-year-old vendor from Charity, Region Two, was remanded to prison after she was caught with 12.8 grammes of ecstasy.

Lawrie was arrested on Friday at Charity Back Street. And she appeared before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

She pleaded not guilty to the offence of possession of narcotics for trafficking but the prosecutor objected to bail. Lawrie was remanded to prison and case was adjourned to October 2.
