A mother of three was arrested Sunday afternoon after she allegedly stabbed her reputed husband to death at their Lot 41 Prince William Street, Plaisance East Coast Demerara home.
Dead is Victor Roberts; the suspect was identified only as ‘Melissa’.
News Room understands that the couple was involved in a heated argument when the murder occurred.
Neighbours told News Room that it is normal for the couple to argue and fight; as a matter of fact, they claimed that the woman had stabbed the man earlier in the year.
Roberts was the father of one of the suspect’s three children and they managed a grocery shop in the lower flat of the house.
